This practice was established in 2006 and focuses on providing full and complete design services in architecture, master planning, and interior design. Service to the client from initial site assessment, code and zoning reviews, schematic design, and construction administration is its primary focus. Thoughtful design solutions that incorporate the client’s goals is the method by which this service is provided. This begins by listening to the client and understanding what he/she needs and treating that client as an individual with the need for an individual design solution.
There are no pre-developed or re-used design solutions for any project ensuring that each client has a design meant for them alone. Each design problem is as unique as the client and it is a goal of this practice to provide the maximum result by approaching each design individually without attempting to force another client’s design upon another. Ultimately the aim is to exceed the expectations of the client by offering excellence in design through experience and creativity in both approach and outcome. Michael S. Nowak Architecture seeks to create architecture that is memorable by its imagery and its function. Good design sells, and leaves a positive impression upon those who use it, whether they be the walk-in customer or the president of a corporation. A thoughtful solution improves work productivity, can create an inviting environment for repeat customers, and can reduce anxiety in stressful environments, such as a health care facility. This practice utilizes a multitude of design and production tools including 3-dimensional surface modeling software (NURBS) that can create architectural form that was previously unachievable. Building information modeling (BIM) for integrated design among consultants resulting in a more well-integrated project. These offer a new direction in architecture and a wide variety of design solutions. | |
